Iranian Constitution in IR of Iran

Iranian Constitution has been adopted on October 24, 1979 and has been effective since December 3, 1979. On July 28 of 1989, Iranian Constitution was amended and constitution amendments are in force since then.

Iranian Constitution Today

In recent years, there have been some debates as to if Iranian constitution needs any reconsideration in order to be amended. There have been different points of views regarding implementing such a measure. 

Up to this moment, no decision has been made on considering another effort to amend the Iranian Constitution in any official manner or on the scale of the top authorities.
